Suttler Post Farm is now the home to 11 gelding clydesdales, which they use for many events. The clydesdale is a great elegant looking horse used to pull a carriage for a wedding or birthday party because of it's flash white feather's on their legs help accent the carriage beautifully.
In 2001, Wayne Mast, owner of Suttler Post Farm Clydesdales, LLC and President of Wayne's Signs & Engraving, Inc. went to a Amish auction in PA and his daughter fell in love with this clydesdale named Doc. Wayne purchased Doc for his daughter in hopes to start a horse drawn carriage business in his area.
History of the breed
The Clydesdale horse originated in Scotland and imported in the USA around 1890's. This breed is well know because of the "Budweiser Clydesdales." The white hair on there lower legs are known as feathers. Our clydesdales are bay in color but come in varity of color.
